Mgr Canon Jeremy Garratt

Fr Jeremy was appointed Rector in September 2006. He is a priest of the Diocese of Portsmouth and was formerly Vicar General and Director of Ongoing Formation.

He previously served as Vice-Rector of the Venerable English College, Rome from 1985 to 1991 and taught Social Ethics as the Missionary Institute, London from 1991 to 1993. He holds first degrees in philosophy and theology from the Gregorian University, Rome and a Licence in Sacred Theology from the Catholic University of Louvain.

At Wonersh, in addition to his responsibilities as Rector, he teaches a First Year course on theology of priesthood and a Fifth Year course Foundations of Priestly Ministry.

His hobbies include walking, reading, cookery, film, upholstery and furniture restoration, and collecting antique tools.
